2018 Trending colors for your Front Door

One of the easiest ways to add curb appeal to your home is to paint the front door. It is all a matter of coordinating the color with your home’s existing architecture and color palette. Choosing a color that works with what your home already has is key to a quick spruce up. Such a small change but it can add a lot of personality.

Make sure to choose an outdoor paint developed for your door type. Gloss or semi-gloss are the sheen’s that will stand up to nicks and scrapes. Also using a gloss or semi-gloss will help show off your bolder color choices.

2. Fresh Apple- In March Behr chose a fresh and vibrant green as their color of the month. Though not a typical color for a front door in the past, dark blues can really add a lot of drama to your entryway. This color has warm gray undertones and will work well with greys, beiges and creams. Depending what you pair this color with, Indigo (SW Indigo 6531) can be rich and classic or fun and fresh.
